The study of complex systems has changed the way we understand the world around us. As the founding institution of Complexity Science, the Santa Fe Institute continues to transcend academic frontiers, make connections across disciplines and foster scientific breakthroughs. The proliferation of institutions adopting a Complexity framework is one hallmark of SFI’s 25 years of success. Bringing together scientists who defined the field and who are breaking new boundaries, this meeting presents the principles that has made the study of complex systems so powerful and discusses future challenges for the paradigm.
