10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.	Discussion Session 1 Complexity and the Educational Ecosystem Question A: How can complexity science help us understand the educational ecosystem?
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.	Discussion Session 2 How is technology changing the skills workers need throughout their career? Question A: Machines have a frustratingly wonderful habit of mastering skills that just a few years prior were deemed to be the exclusive domain of humans. Given what we know about machine learning, what skills do we think will remain in the exclusive domain of humans, and why? Question B: What human skills will likely be more valuable in the wake of the new technologies?

1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.	Discussion Session 3 How is technology changing the way we teach skills and content across the educational ecosystem? Question A: How has technology changed formal education (K-12, college, graduate, and continuing education), and in what directions is future change most likely? Question B: How are new data sources changing our ability to assess educational outcomes and improve educational guidance?

3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.	Discussion Session 4 How are these changes impacting the research environment?

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.	Discussion Session 5 New Directions and Possibilities Question A: Why is the technological transformation of education always over the horizon? Question B: What could go wrong as we bring these new technologies into the classroom? Question C: How might pedagogical paradigm change in the near future? How might the relationship between students and educational institutions change? How might the structure of education change?

On Monday, breakfast will start at 8:30am, with introductions to follow at 9am. Carl Wieman, 2001 Nobel laureate in physics, will make a few opening remarks at 9:30am. After Carl's talk, the day will be oriented around a series of discussion questions (to be distributed and added to the Event Wiki closer to the meeting date). All participants will be encouraged to make a five- to ten-minute presentation related to one of those questions. While slides with data are alright, they are not necessary; the best talks are often extemporaneous. The meeting will continue in this format until 5pm that evening. At 6pm, participants will meet for dinner at La Choza, a famed Santa Fe establishment serving New Mexican cuisine.

Tuesday's meeting will continue until midday in the same format as Monday. In the afternoon, we will organize a collective brainstorming activity to help formalize the meeting's discussion, and map out where the conversation should go next.
