About me:

I am from Wuhan, China. I am a Ph.D student whose interest foucs on using simulation model to analyze social human behavior related to the information technology and system from the levels including group, organzaiton and society. Now I am in Carnegie Mellon University as a research scholar. I will go back to China next January. I am very excited to meet everyone in CSSS and hope to make friends with you.

About questions:

1. what are your main interests? Feel free to include a "pie in the sky" big idea!

Using simuation and soical network analysis method to study interaction between information technology and human organization and combining artifical intelligence and statistical method to solve the IT related problems in practice.

2. What sorts of expertise can you bring to the group?

I am good at Java programing and familiar with Matlab. I have used agent-based simulatoin a lot.

3. What do you hope to get out of the CSSS?

I want my model become more validated and reliable, and can find the practical usage in the theorical and practical fields. I want to grasp a skill to focus on the research questions quickly and a series of methodology in the complex system field.

4. Do you have any possible projects in mind for the CSSS? I have some ideas in my mind about the project in CSSS. I plan to use simulation model to simulate a social network of mobile advertising to solve the related problems including node selection, the impact of group structure and using empirical data.
