Vasu Sunkara

Greetings,

My name is Vasu, and I'm entering my third year of medical school at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I was born in the Midwest and came back in a roundabout way for medical school. Growing up, I also lived in Seattle and San Diego. I graduated from college at UC Berkeley, where I had a strong interest in infectious diseases and the social sciences, specifically economics. This is an interest which stays with me to this day.

I really enjoy the possibilities of interdisciplinary work. So visiting the Institute and Santa Fe should be an exciting trip.
