I am doing research about organizations evolving. I have investigated four Chinese Top 100 firms for one year. Now I use Multi-agent System and System Dynamics to establish the evolving model.I can help others who are interested in organization research use CAS(complex adaptive system) to establish the model. It is very interesting to find the agents and simple rules make the organization evolve in different way. I want to learn the swarm modeling. and the difference between netlogo and swarm..Also computer simulation way may be difficult in management research. Some professors told me that though computer simulation is a good way , it is more about theory or logic deduction. And empirical study is used more widely than simulation study. Cohen came to our school and gave us a lecture about his research complex adaptive system in organization research.His lecture gave me much more interest in organization evolving.
