'''''Liang Chang''''' received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from ''Chongqing Jianzhu University'' (former Chongqing Institute of Architecture & Engineering), Chongqing, China and his master degree in Engineering Mechanics from ''Harbin Institute of Technology'', Harbin, China. Then he worked on several research projects of typhoon risk analysis and structureal health monitoring of high-rise buildings as a research assistant at the ''City Universtiy of Hong Kong''. He currently is a Sustainable Costal Margins Graduate Fellow and doctoral student in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning at ''Texas A&M University''. His research is focused on engineering risk analysis, natural hazards impact on civil infrastructure systems, and spatial analysis.
