I'm a PhD student at the Language Evolution and Computation (LEC) Research Unit at the University of Edinburgh. I study Evolutionary Approaches to Bilingualism. I am supervised by [http://www.lel.ed.ac.uk/~simon/ Simon Kirby], [http://sites.google.com/site/drkennysmith/ Kenny Smith] and [http://www.lel.ed.ac.uk/~antonell/ Antonella Sorace], supported by an ESRC 1+3 grant.

I have an MA in Artificial Intelligence and Linguistics and an MSc in the Evolution of Language and Cognition, both from the University of Edinburgh.

I am interested in the relationships between language structure and social structure and the development of word learning heuristics.
