I now work as a research assistant in the Motor Performance Laboratory at Columbia University&#039;s Neurological Institute. Work in this lab has focused on the effects of stroke, Parkinson&#039;s and Huntington&#039;s disease on various aspects of motor learning and performance.<br /> <br /> Some of my past studies dealt with robotic evolution, robotic locomotion, and issues of embodiment for perception-action systems. Currently, I&#039;m more interested in human problems. My immediate goal is to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of cortical biophysics. Ultimately, I hope to gain and provide some insight into the organization of a healthy brain into an unhealthy one.<br /> <br /> I&#039;m looking forward to an exciting week in Santa Fe.</div>
