I obtained an MSc. in Cognitive Science from the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, <br>
and since December 2013 have been studying for a PhD in Systems Neuroscience at the Institute for <br>
Adaptive and Neural Computation also in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh.<br>
The aim of my project is to build a semi-automated framework to ease the assembly of rule-based models <br>
for neuropsychiatric disease. <br>
My research spans the fields of Neuroinformatics and Systems Neurobiology and aims to model the molecular <br>
mechanisms underlying pathogenesis in neuropsychiatric disorders. I’m fascinated by the genetic and epigenetic <br>
processes that act in concert to produce emergent properties of the brain such as cognition.  In my current <br>
research I’m developing dynamical models using different types of biological data to better understand how <br>
these processes work at the mechanistic level.
