Gateways to Emergent Behavior in Science and Society - Posters and Power Points

Invited virtual posters
We are asking all participants to send us, in advance of the workshop, a “virtual” poster describing, in lay language free of jargon, one or more candidate gateways to emergent behavior that they are exploring in the systems they study; as these arrive, the posters will be put on our workshop website. We hope doing so will be a win-win situation in three ways: the act of creating the poster will be a learning experience for many [explaining your favorite gateway to a non-specialist is not always easy and sharpens your understanding of it]; it provides ICAM and SFI with a useful beginning library of candidate gateways; it brings some of your current research to the attention of your fellow participants and the broader audience that will follow the workshop at the time or later. Your contribution may be either in poster form, or consist in a set of Powerpoints. The deadline for submitting this is July 15, so that participants will have ample time before the workshop to become familiar with each others work.
