Lastly, I have some experience acquiring and analyzing large data sets from the Web and other sources.

Currently my work is all over the place, but broadly speaking, I am interested in applying machine learning and statistical methods to the study of large and complex systems. Specifically the areas of economics/finance, text analysis (i.e. news, blogs, books, etc.) and social network analysis capture my interest.
